Viola Seeds (F1 Hybrid)

Grow cascading Violas with Rebelina F1 hybrid seeds (Viola cornuta). Masses of small, cheerful faces smother these branching plants all winter, perfect for Pakistani hanging baskets, pot edges and bed fronts where larger pansies look heavy.

Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: September to October in the plains; late August to September in Islamabad; October in Karachi.
• Method: Nursery trays. Cover the seed with a thin 3 mm layer of mix; viola germinates better in darkness. Keep the tray shaded and cool until sprouts appear.
• Germination: 7–14 days at 18–20°C; hot trays above 25°C stall germination.
• Transplanting: At 4–6 leaves, 15–20 cm apart.
• Flowering: December to April; pick spent blooms weekly to keep new ones coming.
• Sun and water: Full winter sun in the plains; regular light watering.
