What is inside each mix pack
The Showstoppers — Winter Flower Seed Mix. Our boldest, brightest blend: gazania, calendula, dahlia, pansy and aster. Big flowers, strong colour and a long display through the cool months. Best for front beds, entrance borders and anywhere you want impact.
The Bouquet Builders — Cut Flower Seed Mix. Carnation, sweet william, viola and salvia — chosen for straight stems, good vase life and scent. Plant a row for the garden and a row to cut, and you will have fresh flowers on the table all season.
The Wild Bunch — Wildflower Seed Mix. Delphinium, larkspur, marigold, lavender and stock. A relaxed cottage-garden look that fills space quickly, tolerates a little neglect and brings in bees and butterflies.
When and how to sow in Pakistan
Sowing window. These are cool-season flowers. In Lahore, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Sialkot and most of Punjab, sow from mid-September to early November. In Karachi, Hyderabad and coastal Sindh, wait for October to December. In Quetta, Murree and the northern hill areas, sow late August to September.
Seed bed. Loosen the top six inches of soil, mix in well-rotted compost or leaf manure, rake level and water lightly the day before sowing.
Sowing depth. Fine seed is barely covered — press it onto damp soil and dust a thin layer of sieved compost over the top. Larger seed goes about twice its own width deep. Sowing too deep is the most common reason seed fails to appear.
Trays or direct. You can broadcast the mix straight into a prepared bed for a natural drift, or start it in trays and transplant at the four-leaf stage for even spacing. Trays give better control if you are new to growing from seed.
Water. Keep the surface just damp until seedlings appear, usually in 7 to 21 days depending on the variety. A fine rose on the can, or a hand mister, stops the seed from washing away.
Care through the season
Thinning. Once seedlings have two true leaves, thin them so each plant has room to fill out. Crowded seedlings stretch and flower poorly.
Sun. Give the bed at least five to six hours of direct winter sun. North-facing balconies and deep shade will produce leaves but few flowers.
Feeding. A balanced feed every two to three weeks once plants are established, switching to a potassium-rich feed as buds form, keeps the colour coming.
Deadheading. Pinch off spent blooms regularly. Most of these varieties will keep producing for weeks longer if you never let them set seed.
Pots and containers. All three mixes grow well in containers of eight inches or deeper with drainage holes. Use a light, open potting mix — garden soil alone compacts and drowns roots.

Are the varieties packed separately inside the pack? The pack contains a blend of the listed varieties together, made to be sown as one mix so the bed comes up naturally varied.
Which pack should a first-time gardener pick? The Wild Bunch is the most forgiving. The Showstoppers gives the strongest colour. The Bouquet Builders is the one to choose if you want flowers to cut and bring indoors.
Can I sow all three together? Yes. Many customers run the three packs across one long border for a full season of colour, or keep The Bouquet Builders in a separate cutting row.
Will these grow on a rooftop or balcony? Yes, provided the spot gets several hours of direct sun and the containers drain freely.
How long until they flower? Most varieties in these mixes begin flowering roughly 8 to 12 weeks after sowing, and carry on for several weeks after that.
How should I store leftover seed? Fold the sachet shut and keep it somewhere cool, dry and dark. Kept properly, the seed stays good for the next season.
