Verbena Quartz Seeds

Grow rich blue Verbena with Quartz Blue seeds (Verbena hybrida). Clusters of deep violet-blue florets on spreading plants, a rare true-blue tone for Pakistani winter pots, baskets and bed fronts that flowers for months.

Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: September to October in the plains; September in Islamabad; October to November in Karachi.
• Method: Nursery trays. Cover seed lightly, 3 mm; verbena germinates better in darkness. Keep the mix on the dry side of moist, wet trays rot verbena seed.
• Germination: 14–21 days at 20–24°C, often uneven; do not give up early.
• Transplanting: At 4–6 leaves, 25 cm apart.
• Flowering: December to April; trim leggy stems for fresh growth.
• Sun and water: Full sun; water sparingly once established.
