• Sowing time: February to March in trays for spring in the plains and Islamabad; late August to September in the plains and Karachi for autumn. Frost-tender.
• Method: Nursery trays; cover seed 0.5–1 cm, keep warm.
• Germination: 6–10 days at 22–26°C.
• Transplanting: At 4–6 leaves, 50 cm apart, staked.
• Harvest: About 70–72 days from transplanting, in heavy grape-like clusters.
• Sun and water: Full sun; steady watering. F1 hybrid, buy fresh seed each season.
