Stock Harmony Seeds

Grow beautifully branching, fragrant Stock with Harmony series seeds (Matthiola incana). Dense spikes of clove-scented blooms in soft antique shades, one of the most perfumed flowers you can grow through a Pakistani winter, in beds or as a homegrown cut flower.

Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: September to October in the plains; late August to September in Islamabad; October in Karachi. Stock needs the cool months to flower well.
• Method: Nursery trays. Cover seed lightly, 3 mm; keep below 22°C for the best germination.
• Germination: 5–10 days at 18–20°C.
• Transplanting: At 4–5 leaves, 20–25 cm apart in full sun.
• Flowering: January to March; cut spikes early in the morning for the vase.
• Sun and water: Full winter sun; moderate water with good drainage, stock hates wet feet.
