Invite the garden's other residents. A traditional tube feeder in brushed stainless steel, with six perch-and-port stations arranged around a transparent central column so you can see seed levels at a glance and refill before the birds give up on you. Birds you'll attract in Pakistani gardens: house sparrows (chiriya); common mynah; bulbuls — red-vented and white-eared; rose-ringed parakeets (tota), if you keep it stocked; migratory finches and tits in winter (Lahore and Islamabad gardens). Stainless steel cap and base resist rust through monsoon and winter rain. Transparent polycarbonate tube holds approximately 600 g of mixed seed. Integrated metal hanging loop fits any standard hook or branch. Six perches in stamped metal — durable, easy to wipe down. Best location: hang 1.5-2 metres above ground, ideally near (but not directly in) a small tree or shrub so birds have a quick escape route from cats. Refill every 4-7 days depending on activity. One of the most satisfying garden additions you can make — kids love it, parents love it, and your morning chai gains a soundtrack.
