How the self-watering system works

Two chambers, one wick. Your plant sits in the upper ABS chamber with its potting mix; the transparent lower chamber stores the water. An absorbent wick links them, drawing moisture upward by capillary action only as the soil dries. The plant regulates its own supply, so roots are never waterlogged and never parched — and you can see exactly how much water is left without lifting or probing anything.

How to use it

1. Thread the wick through the base of the planting chamber, leaving roughly half of its length in the reservoir.
2. Pot your plant in a free-draining mix — a peat or coco-based potting compost works well.
3. Water thoroughly from the top once to settle the mix and prime the wick.
4. Fill the reservoir and top it up when the level runs low. Rinse it out every few weeks.

Care and durability

ABS is a reusable, hard-wearing plastic that will not crack or discolour in normal indoor use. Wipe with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners and solvents. Suitable for homes, offices, balconies and covered outdoor spaces.
