Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: September to October in the plains; late August to September in Islamabad; October in Karachi.
• Method: Nursery trays. Cover seed with 3 mm of mix; pansy germinates best in darkness and cool, so shade the tray in early September heat.
• Germination: 7–14 days at 18–20°C; above 25°C germination stalls.
• Transplanting: At 4–6 leaves, 15–20 cm apart.
• Flowering: December to April; pick faded blooms weekly to keep the giants coming.
• Sun and water: Full winter sun; regular light watering.
