Organic Tomato San Marzano Seeds

Grow the world's most famous sauce tomato with organic San Marzano seeds (Solanum lycopersicum). Long, meaty plum tomatoes with few seeds and low water, they cook down into rich salan, pasta sauce and chutney like no round tomato can.

Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: February to March in trays for the spring crop in the plains and Islamabad; late August to September in the plains and Karachi for autumn. Frost-tender.
• Method: Nursery trays; cover seed 0.5–1 cm, keep warm.
• Germination: 6–10 days at 22–26°C.
• Transplanting: At 4–6 leaves, 50–60 cm apart, with strong stakes.
• Harvest: About 80 days from transplanting; let fruit colour fully on the vine for the best sauce flavour.
• Sun and water: Full sun; even watering at the base prevents blossom-end rot, the plum tomato's one weakness.
