Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: September to October in the plains; September in Islamabad; October to November in Karachi.
• Method: Nursery trays. Cover the fine seed very lightly, about 2–3 mm; keep evenly moist and shaded until sprouts show.
• Germination: 7–14 days at 18–20°C.
• Transplanting: At 4–6 leaves, 15–20 cm apart in pots or bed edges.
• Flowering: December to March; shear lightly after the first flush for a second bloom.
• Sun and water: Full winter sun; steady light moisture, never soggy.
