The chartreuse twin of Scarlet Frills — same finely cut, ruffled leaf architecture, opposite colour. Brassica juncea from certified organic seed, ready as baby leaf in 21 days and full size at 45. The flavour is pungent and sweet at once. Of the two frilled mustards, this is the one rated for both cold and heat.

Growing Guide for Pakistan
- Sowing time: Punjab plains (Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan) late September to February; Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Peshawar September to January; Karachi and coastal Sindh October to December; Murree, Swat and Quetta February to April. Fast enough to sow every two to three weeks right through winter. Being heat tolerant, this is the frilled mustard to use for the earliest and latest sowings.
- Method: Sow 6 mm deep, three to five seeds per 2 cm.
- Germination: Two to fifteen days, from 4°C to 24°C.
- Spacing: Baby leaf: rows 5 cm apart. Full size: thin to 20–30 cm.
- Harvest: Baby leaf from 21 days, cut and come again. Full size at 45 days.
- Sun and water: Full sun. Steady moisture keeps the leaf tender and the pungency balanced.
The one for warm spells
Scarlet Frills is rated cold tolerant only. Golden Frills is rated cold and heat tolerant, which makes it the right choice for a September sowing in the plains or a late-February one, when the afternoons are already warming up.

Sown densely in a shallow tray on a windowsill, Golden Frills gives a bright, peppery microgreen in under two weeks — no garden needed.
