Iberis Seeds (Candytuft)

Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: September to November in the plains; September in Islamabad; October to December in Karachi.
• Method: Direct sow where it will flower, candytuft dislikes moving; cover with 3 mm of soil.
• Germination: 7–14 days at 18–20°C.
• Spacing: Thin to 15 cm apart.
• Flowering: January to April; shear after the first flush for a second wave.
• Sun and water: Full sun; light watering, tolerates poor soil.
