Flowering Cabbage Seeds

Grow living winter decor with Flowering Cabbage Pigeon seeds (ornamental Brassica oleracea). Neat rosettes whose centres blush white, pink and rose as nights turn cold, striking in Pakistani winter beds, large pots and pathway lines, and the colour only deepens with the chill.

Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: September in the plains and Islamabad; late September to October in Karachi.
• Method: Nursery trays; cover seed with 5 mm of mix.
• Germination: 4–8 days at 18–21°C.
• Transplanting: At 4–5 leaves, 30 cm apart; plant slightly deep for stability.
• Colour: Centres colour from December as temperatures fall, best after nights below 10°C.
• Sun and water: Full sun; regular water. Watch for caterpillars, the same ones that love your winter sabzi.
