Fenugreek (Methi) Seeds

Grow fresh methi all winter with these Fenugreek seeds (Trigonella foenum-graecum). The easiest crop in Pakistani kitchen gardening: scatter, water, and cut fragrant bunches for methi aloo, saag and parathas within a month, then cut again and again.

Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: September to November in the plains; late August to October in Islamabad; October to December in Karachi. Sow a fresh patch every two weeks for winter-long supply.
• Method: Direct sow. Scatter thickly over a prepared bed or wide pot, rake in lightly, water gently.
• Germination: 3–5 days at 18–25°C, the fastest seed we sell.
• Harvest: First cutting in 3–4 weeks; cut 3 cm above soil and it regrows for two or three more cuttings.
• Sun and water: Full sun to light shade; light, regular watering.
