Dahlia Figaro Seeds

Grow bushels of double Dahlias from Figaro seeds (Dahlia variabilis). This dwarf mix blooms fast from seed, no tubers needed, covering compact plants in double and semi-double flowers across every dahlia colour. A rewarding first dahlia for any Pakistani gardener.

Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: September to October in the plains and Karachi for winter-to-spring bloom; February to March in Islamabad and the north (dahlias dislike frost).
• Method: Nursery trays; cover seed with 5 mm of mix.
• Germination: 5–10 days at 21–24°C.
• Transplanting: At 4–5 leaves, 30 cm apart. Pinch once for bushier plants.
• Flowering: About ten weeks from sowing; deadhead relentlessly. Plants form small tubers you can save after the season.
• Sun and water: Full sun; regular deep watering and rich soil.
