Cabbage Hybrid F-1 Seeds

Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: August to September in trays in the plains; August in Islamabad; late September to October in Karachi.
• Method: Nursery trays; cover seed with 5 mm of mix. Watch for damping-off in humid early September, water mornings only.
• Germination: 5–8 days at 18–21°C.
• Transplanting: At 4–5 leaves, 45 cm apart in rich, firm soil.
• Harvest: 90–120 days from sowing, December to February; cut when heads feel solid under your palm.
• Sun and water: Full sun; even watering, sudden soaking after drought splits heads. Net against cabbage caterpillars.
