Asclepias Silky Seeds (Filler)

Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: September to October in the plains and Karachi; February to March in Islamabad and the north, it dislikes frost.
• Method: Nursery trays; cover seed with 3 mm of mix.
• Germination: 10–15 days at 22–24°C.
• Transplanting: At 4–5 leaves, 30 cm apart; the milky sap can irritate skin, so wash hands after cutting.
• Flowering: Twelve to fourteen weeks from sowing, continuing for months; sear cut stem ends before arranging.
• Sun and water: Full sun; moderate water.
