Alyssum Snow Crystals Seeds

Sow a snowfall of bloom with Alyssum Snow Crystals seeds (Lobularia maritima). Larger pure-white florets than ordinary alyssum, forming a dense honey-scented carpet that sets off every other colour in a Pakistani winter bed.

Growing Guide for Pakistan

• Sowing time: September to November in the plains; September in Islamabad; October to December in Karachi.
• Method: Direct sow or trays; scatter and cover with barely 2 mm of soil.
• Germination: 4–8 days at 18–22°C.
• Spacing: Thin to 10–15 cm apart.
• Flowering: Six to eight weeks from sowing through April; shear once mid-season to renew.
• Sun and water: Full sun; light watering. Excellent in pot rims and pathway edges.
